I knew that there was snow coming on Wednesday in KC, and I had my fingers crossed all day that I was at least going to get out of there and not be stuck. Thankfully, that was the case, but here is some of the early stuff. My flight arrived into KCI around 2:35, deplaned and was boarded to pull away from the gate at 3:05. In that half hour, about an inch of snow had accumulated on the wings of the plane.
People were calling loved ones and checking the weather throughout the airport trying to give status updates. I know I called my Mom 3 times.
